  • RNDC has received funds for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program in Nye and Douglas
    Counties.  These funds are available to assist low and moderate income households to purchase

RNDC has received funds from USDA Rural
Development to rehabilitate Bristlecone
Apartments in Ely.  Repairs and upgrades
include installation of new windows, heating
units, and stucco exterior.  The project is
scheduled to be completed in summer of
2010.
Phase II of John Marvel Senior Village in
Battle Mountain is now complete and all units
are occupied.
RNDC staff attended Valley Electric's 2009
Energy Symposium in Pahrump.  Dru
Simerson, Weatherization Manager, gave a
presentation on the Weatherization
Assistance Program.
